Sakurajima, I think, is supposed to show up in the background on a clear day...On another note, it's pretty interesting how Faiz and Shinobu got to meet each other, and more so, get to hang out with one another. Faiz came to IUK on a four-month exchange from UPEI (University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Canada) and during the same period, Shinobu went to UPEI from IUK, so essentially, they weren't supposed to meet each other.
But here they are :D
After Sakurajima, we went to Ijuin (伊集院), Shinobu and Hiroki's hometown, and went to the local Joyfull for dinner. It was an interesting experience. The two of them have been living in that town all their lives and they knew a lot of people coming in and going out of the restaurant. It was interesting how people would come up to our table and drop in the conversation from time to time.
After dinner, we went to Kushikino (串木野) and enjoyed the night view from a shed. It was freezing cold but we enjoyed the conversation and the peaceful scenery below nevertheless.
It's too dark to see anything in the background, though :P
After Kushikino, we went to Eguchihama beach (江口浜) but it was too dark to see so it was pointless to even try taking a picture there :P
